Matthew Begin

Matthew Begin has a special fondness for saunas, having met his partner at one such clothing-optional establishment over eight years ago. Will’s pickup line was, “Wanna see my tent?” And yes… yes he did.

After growing up homeschooled—which probably explains a lot—Matthew acquired a background in musical theatre/dance and childcare before venturing into the world of wellness, becoming certified in yoga, reiki, and life coaching.

He has performed with Maine State Music Theatre and the Portland Ballet Company, and now splits his time between playing suspects and sleuths with Mystery 207’s murder mystery dinner shows, and coaching clients on their social, sexual, and spiritual wellbeing.

Favorite past roles include Paul in A Chorus Line (Portland Players) and Tamlin in The Inner Circle, an ACOTAR-inspired production by Resurgence Dance Company.
