Find a sitter, grab your towel, and crank up the 8-track — the year is 1980, and we're headed to the small town of Paris, Maine, where the legendary Dave’s Sauna was way more than just a place to sweat!

Here, folks were “Swinging in the Hot Box,” toasting to the “Beer Behind the Counter,” and proudly declaring “Cocaine’s a Wonderful Drug.”

Based on true(ish) events and local lore,

An Evening at Dave’s Sauna is a “Maine Naughty,” nostalgic trip full of original songs, unforgettable characters, and big belly laughs.

Come for the sauna. Stay for the sirens. Leave humming tunes you shouldn’t sing at work, and most of all,

remember what it meant to “live life right!”

"Imagine my surprise when I saw that someone had made a musical about Dave's! A show about a spot in Oxford County -- a part of Maine which doesn't get much limelight -- where I had been! About people I'd known! HOLY SHIT (I exclaimed when I saw the poster)! This kind of thing........it just doesn't happen. There was NO. WAY. I was going to miss that. I wasn't disappointed."
