Sumner Pratt

Sumner is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this production and can't wait to share this amazing show with you! Born and raised in Massachusetts, Sumner has always been captivated by the arts, but it was the serene beauty of Maine that truly captured his heart eight years ago.

His journey into the world of theater began with an education at The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, where he honed his craft and developed a deep appreciation for the performing arts. Sumner then moved to Portland, Maine where he discovered the art scene. Here he found a thriving community of artists and performers that have continually inspired him.

Recent performances include Old Man, A Christmas Story (Lyric Music Theater); Bert, Mary Poppins, Emmett Forrest, Legally Blonde, and Rapunzel’s Prince, Into The Woods (Portland Players). Sumner dedicates this performance to his lovely partner, Alyssa. He extends his heartfelt thanks to Beth, David, Pat, and Sarah Pratt for their love and support.
